President’s Message

Oy Gevald ! Its Rosh Hashanah already. Janine and I have been very blessed to have had family here to attend family occasions and this brings me to my message for the upcoming chagim : Family First. Being a piece in the puzzle of the ever-migrating Jews of the world, from my great grandparents to grandparents and then us, we are faced with the challenges of having our families spread across the planet. In fact, I had a think and I don’t know anyone in our community who has not shared in this phenomenon. So, the answer is you are our family and we are yours.

Its amazing to be Jewish and to share this unique bond. On behalf of Janine and my family, I would like to wish to our extended “mishpacha” … a wonderful Sweet New Year and a meaningful fast.

Many thanks to the members of the board of management and to my vice presidents, David Paratz and Aaron Goldman for the support through the year. Special mention to the secretary, Laurence Terret for an amazing job. Thanks to Rabbi Jaffe and Dvorah for another great year.
