Membership

MEMBERSHIP:

  • In terms of membership the process is quite simple.
  • Download the Membership Form complete and email with supporting documentation (Scanned) to the email provided on the form.
  • After we have received the application one of our committee members will be in touch to acknowledge the receipt of the application and also discuss any pertinent issues relevant to the application.
    • NO PAYMENT is required on application.
  • Rabbi Jaffe will review the application and if needed will seek clarification from you by phone or email.
  • When approved you will be notified by phone and/or email.
  • Membership is based on seat allocation and is gender based. Please indicate your 3 preferred seats in each section 1-3 (ladies/men’s as applicable) of your choice (see application form). The seats have a cost base which is applied to the membership.
  • We need to check the seat availability and in most cases your first seat preference will be confirmed. In the seating plan a blank square indicates those seats that are available, and a “P” indicates the seats are provisionally available.
  • Membership discounts are available:
    • Student receive a 50% discount off the seat cost
    • Pensioners receive a 65% discount off the seat cost
    • Country members must live 60KM from the CBD and receive 50% off the seat price.
  • ALL memberships are based on the financial year and renewable no later than Rosh Hashanah each year. The yearly membership fee will be pro-rota.
  • If your application is approved you will be sent an invoice with the relevant payment options.
  • A full refund of your payment is available consistent with our Refund Policy.
  • All information captured as part of your application is governed by our Privacy Policy.
